Who is responsible for your data
goodpeople, based in Barcelona, Spain, is the data controller for candidate applications submitted through this website. You can reach us at hello@goodpeople.today for any question about your data.
What we collect
The information you enter in the application form: your name, email, phone number, city, residency and work-authorisation status, discipline, experience, language levels, optional links to your LinkedIn or portfolio, and your CV if you upload one. We also record the date of your consent and, where you provide it, how you heard about us.
Why we use it
Solely to assess your application, contact you about it, and match you with employment opportunities at goodpeople and with our clients. The legal basis is your consent, and — once we begin discussing a specific role with you — steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
Who can see it
Your profile is visible to goodpeople staff involved in recruitment. When we propose you for a specific role, we share the relevant parts of your profile with that client and tell you beforehand. Our hosting and email providers process the data on our behalf under written agreements. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate applications for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, after which they are deleted or anonymised. If you are hired, your data moves to your employment record and follows the retention rules that apply to employment and payroll records in Spain.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, or to withdraw your consent — withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place. Email hello@goodpeople.today and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD).
Security
Applications and CVs are stored in access-controlled systems. CVs live in a private storage area that is not publicly reachable, and only authorised goodpeople staff can open them.
